We have noticed that our customers typically ask the same questions in reference to preparing and planning their Spa Party, so we have conducted a list of the most common questions and we already have them answered for you. "What do I need to provide for my party?"
You will need to supply a large table, with chairs to accommodate your guests (THAT'S IT!). This table needs to be close to an outlet, or an electrical cord may be needed. *Dazzled in Pink is not responsible for any unlikely injuries or accidents that may occur at your house or venue. You also agree to provide a space, and table/chairs that is appropriate for painting nails, and for other spa supplies. We are not responsible for damage, although we do our best to protect the space we use with table covers. All other supplies are provided by Dazzled in Pink! If you would like to provide food/refreshments for your guests, this would be great! If you're short on time, perhaps our party enhancers will help. *Please see Our 'Oh, so Pretty Extras' section of our website.
"Do you refund for guests who choose not to participate?"
No, unfortunately there are some children who may be shy, or just not the 'girly' type and would rather not participate in the spa birthday festivities, but we do have to charge for the guests you have confirmed in your 72 hour final head count. We thank you for your understanding.
"When do these Spa Parties happen? Day, evening?"
Dazzled in Pink is extremely flexible to your needs. During the school year, we suggest weekend or evening parties. Throughout the summer months or school vacation weeks, we are available any day of the week, day or evening. We do require a 3 week notice at any time throughout our calendar year.
"When should I book my Spa Party?"
We ask that you book your party at least 2 weeks in advance; 3 weeks is preferred. Occasionally we can accommodate last minute parties. Please give us a call!
"How long will you be at our home?"
We give ourselves a proximity of 1.5-3 hours. Each party package requires a different routine of events and may be quicker or longer than another party. We give an estimated party time based on the activities included in your party and the number of guests at your party. We may stay longer than expected, if need be. It typically takes us 30 minutes for us to set-up a party, depending on the number of girls. We generally arrive 30-45 minutes before your party will start.
"How do you clean your bowls, foot spas, headbands, and towels?"
We wash and sanitize all of our items using bleach. Cleanliness is a priority for Dazzled in Pink.
"Are boys welcome to participate?"
YES, of course! Believe it or not, we have witnessed a lot of boys participate in spa parties. And once they get started, they typically go 'all out'! They're not beautiful, but handsome. *If they do participate, they need to be included in the 72 hour final head count.
"What is the appearance of your Spa Hostesses?"
We are exceptionally presentable, stylish and clean, and are always dressed appropriately. Spa Hostesses range in age, and are all equally capable and extremely talented in Spa Parties.
"Should we tip the Spa Hostesses?"
YES! If you think the Spa Hostess deserved it! Gratuities are very much appreciated, and we thank you in advance. *Tips must be given in cash, directly to the Spa Hostess. Tipping one Spa Hostess for the work of two or more Spa Hostesses is not recommended, please tip each girl separately. We thank you.
"How far does Dazzled in Pink travel?"
We travel 0-30 miles, FREE OF CHARGE! We travel 31-40 miles, $0.35 per mile. And we travel 41-60 miles, $0.65 per mile. We determine mileage using MapQuest, from zip code, 03076. Please contact us if you are further than 60 miles, as exceptions can be made for large parties. *Please see The 'Glamorous' Details tab.
"Is Dazzled in Pink an actual spa?"
No, our services are for ENTERTAINMENT purposes only. We do not use tools or cut cuticles/nails.
"What forms of payment do you accept?"
Dazzled in Pink accepts cash or personal check only for the non-refundable $100.00 deposit at the time of your booking. The balance must be paid in full at the time we arrive at your house on your party day; your balance must be paid in cash, no exceptions.
"Will the parents of the guests need to sign anything?"
Yes, all parents of the guests are REQUIRED to fill out the "PINK Princess Consent Form" located on our website. This is especially important considering many children have allergies. You should inform other parents of what type of party you are hosting. *If you need us to mail you 'hard-copies' of this form, please ask! If not, print copies right from our website!
This consent form also has an area for parents to either approve or disapprove of Dazzled in Pink using the photos we take at parties on our promotional materials such as our Facebook page, and/or on our website.
"May I take photos during the party?"
Yes, you may photograph your child(ren) and/or guests during the party!
"Do you travel to venues or places outside my home?"
Yes, Dazzled in Pink travels to your location, whether it be your home or a venue. *Travel fees may apply.
"Does the Birthday Girl receive anything special?"
Of course she does, after all this is her day to be a Princess. Your Birthday Girl will receive a Special Goodie Bag filled with all the necessities to feel like a Princess, compliments of us.
